Lon Chaffin

Color and Harmony, Texture and Counterpoint, Pattern and Rhythm -- Music for the eyes. Lon's work in the visual arts has grown out of a fascination for the elemental correlations between music and abstract art -- color, texture, line, rhythm, form, etc. He is a published, award-winning composer and author. He has served as a university choral director, voice instructor, music theory professor, and administrator for over thirty years. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music. His Master's is in Music Theory and Composition. He also received a Ph.D. in Fine Arts.
